This is another book in a Series "Weekend Projects...". Here you will find several new projects which use glass stringers. Now all the projects described here are inspired by various ribbon-like patterns which are used traditionally by quilt makers. There are so many implementations of ribbons, that I wrote two books.
This is the first book, and it includes the entry-level projects. They are simple but attractive. You do not need to have advanced glass cutting skills or special tools. At the same time these projects give you a good opportunity to improve your skills and to prepare yourself to the more complicated projects described in other books of this series.
In these two books I decided not to specify day-by-day instructions and let you to choose your own pace. Every project begins with a brief description of the idea behind it. This helps you to understand a "helicopter view" before you dive into detailed step-by-step instructions. For each project I included list of materials with the dimensions calculated for three various sizes.
Also, for most of the projects I included possible variations. So, you can easily design something totally new.
There are 80 pages, more than 70 pictures and illustrations.
