Winter Serpentines

Color drifts across a quiet winter surface. Two edges release slender, serpentine trails — bright ribbons of red, blue, green, and gold — sliding inward like warm reflections on a cold window. The center remains deep and speckled, holding the stillness of a winter night while the colors move gently across it.

This piece captures that moment when darkness is steady, yet color finds a way to glow through it. A study in contrast: motion and calm, celebration and quiet.

Materials Fused glass (Oceanside), color stringers, glass frit, kiln‑formed and cold‑worked.

Dimensions 7.5 x 7.5 inches.
